YaTonya Cody

Vice President

Team Manager, Education Services – U.S. Premier Support

I am a native Atlantan with more than 18 years of professional experience in customer support, project, product, and program management. I began my professional career in 1996 during the summer Olympics as a Junior RF Engineer at ATT (formerly BellSouth). I spent 15 years of my career in Telecommunication, where I was responsible for designing and implementing end to end technology solutions for customers. In 2010, when I joined Microsoft, I transitioned to Software & Solutions. For the last 4 years, I have worked with senior members across global lines of business and have led strategic initiatives in order to enable customer success. Today I lead a team of nine consultants across the United States, who are responsible for delivering educational solutions to Microsoft’s customers, who utilize our products and technology.

I hold two undergraduate degrees, Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (1995) and Natural Sciences from Spelman College (1994). I later went on to further my education by obtaining an MBA from the University of Phoenix (2004). Additionally, I am a certified Project Management Professional with more than a decade of project management experience.

In my leisure, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending concerts, serving at my local church as well as in my community, and participating in several non-profit organizations. Also, I am a culinary artist and enjoy preparing wonderful meals and hosting dinner parties for friends and family. With all of my cooking and eating, I discipline myself by maintaining a 4-5 day physical fitness routine.

I am the proud mother of two beautiful children, Daeja (daughter -18) and Jaden (son – 14).
